3. Local Storage and Session Storage
In addition to cookies, we use your browser's local storage (Local Storage and Session Storage) for the following purposes:
- Supabase Auth Token: Storage of the authentication token for session management
- User preferences: Local storage of your settings (e.g. recently selected options) for a better experience
- Tab state: Storage of the current navigation state within the application
This data is stored exclusively on your device and is not transmitted to third parties.
4. Why No Cookie Banner?
Since we only use strictly necessary cookies that are essential for the operation of the Platform, no separate consent via a cookie banner is required under Swiss law (DSG) or the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement because the service you requested cannot be provided without them.
